“I invite you to use the opportunity and time for sound healing to revitalize and re-harmonize our bodies with our minds. The synergy between the body and the mind is imperative to maintain a peaceful interaction with the world we find ourselves in”
~Jaime Annett, Certified Sound Healing Practitioner

We created this sound healing collaborative with the sole objective of having a safe space, a healing space where sound, meditation, and breath work embrace the synergy between the body and mind.

It’s okay to forget about the big problems or any mental weights that make it difficult to be still, more so this is about what we need from ourselves in order to give and receive.

We hope you can come support the collaborative as we grow into our studio.

The sound healing session is around 70 minutes. Come in comfortable clothing, hydrate before your session, and contemplate if there is anything you may be working on personally so we can be sensitive to your intentions. During the session enjoy Reiki provided by Olga Atkinson!

Please arrive 10 minutes before session begins for sage and Incense and instruction to prepare for your experience.

We are honored and excited for this opportunity to grow the collaborative into a healing event for my friends and community

BENEFITS OF SOUND HEALING

Sound baths can trigger a phenomenon called “sound healing.” Sound healing has been a home remedy favored by many cultures for thousands of years. Waves of soothing, echoing sound from traditional wind and percussion instruments, also known as a “sound bath,” help with stress, fatigue, and depression symptoms.

1. It’s super-relaxing
Deep relaxation is one of the most significant and universal benefits of sound therapy. “The sounds permeate our system returning it back to harmony,” So if you take nothing else away from a sound healing session, relaxation on its own is worth it. With our busy schedules and so much going on in the world, we can all use some chill vibes.

2. It helps clears energetic blockages
Some people experience deep healing during sound therapy as the sound vibrations open, clear, and balance then release stuck energy. It’s described as an “energetic deep tissue massage” that leaves you feeling balanced and replenished.
“When [a healing] happens, you may also feel physical sensations like tingling in your hands or feel or a sense of being hot or cold,”. “Breathe into the sensations without attaching to them or labeling them. Instead, focus on your breath as you allow them to pass.”

3. It boosts your health
That’s right—it’s not completely woo-woo. “Research has already demonstrated that sound healing can be incredibly beneficial when working with [a variety of] patients,”
Benefits can include improved sleep, reduction of chronic pain and blood pressure, lowered cholesterol, and a decrease in heart disease (Although, for professional help with these ailments, please see a certified medical practitioner.)

4. It supports mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being
It also heals on the mental and emotional levels. “Sound healing helps reduce stress, Anxiety, and depression “It balances and clears the mind, and leads to a renewed sense of purpose, well-being, calm, and happiness.”
“Sound healing balances and clears the mind, and leads to a renewed sense of purpose, well-being, calm, and happiness.”

Since stress is associated with other conditions like diabetes and heart disease, engaging in sound baths is a good preventive strategy to reduce the risk of chronic conditions, too. A sound bath will improve your mood and release tension in your body, among other things.

A provider trained in sound bath musical techniques will use one or several instruments to create soothing, overlapping vibrations. These vibrations lead you deeper into a state of contemplation or relaxation, shutting off your body’s fight-or-flight reflex.

At the end of a session, we will guide you back to a feeling of awareness before concluding the sound bath and wishing you well on your journey.

Sound bath instruments

Instruments that make deep, resonating vibrations are popular instruments used for sound baths. These include:
